Hire our venue
The Lounge and Bar Facilities can be hired by members and associates for private functions, either during normal opening hours or by arrangement at other times – e.g. we can provide for christenings and children’s parties and other gatherings better suited to afternoons. We can accommodate up to 80 guests depending on the nature of the event.
Our standard charge for room hire is £20 per hour. The costs of special licences e.g. for extended opening or entertainment are chargeable extras. Hourly rate is £20 but we may negotiate a concessionary arrangement for well-established members.
We can usually provide a hot/cold buffet catering service at reasonable rates. Alternatively, organizers may use our kitchen facilities to manage their own catering. We charge a deposit of £25, which is refundable as long as work areas are left clean and tidy after the event.
Please note that other club members are entitled to use the premises during normal opening hours and may therefore be present in the smaller bar.

Sunday 10.30am – 2.30pm and 8.30pm – 10.30pm
May to August

We are closed on Bank Holiday, except for Good Friday. However, we may open at special request.
